Red Cross sponsoring dance competition

The Buffalo Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, in collaboration with Jamestown College students and staff, have arranged Swinging for a Cause, an evening of jazz music, dinner, dancing and a competition.

The evening will begin at 5 p.m. Feb. 14 with drinks sold by the Knights Society and socializing. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a swing dance competition. The evening’s music will be provided by the Jamestown College Jazz Band. Raffle tickets for a drawing will be sold throughout the evening.

Tickets are $25 per person for the evening. The cost to compete in dancing is $5 per entry. Awards will be given to the top couples. The floor will open to everyone before and after the competition.
