FARGO — A winning Powerball ticket, purchased for the drawing Saturday matched all five white balls for a prize worth $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at the Stamart at 1340 34th St. S.W. in Fargo.

For the North Dakota Lottery, this is the first $200,000 Powerball winning ticket sold in 2010 and it is also the largest winning ticket sold since Nov. 25, 2009, when George Nelson of Grafton won the Wild Card 2 jackpot worth over $1.6 million.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are thousands of dollars won at other prize levels. The winning numbers for Saturday’s Powerball drawing are: 20, 41, 44, 50, 54 and the Powerball is 22.

Although players have 180 days to cash a winning ticket, they often overlook checking tickets and the prize money goes unclaimed. Tickets can be checked by visiting a participating lottery retailer, or by visiting the lottery’s Web site at www.lottery.nd.gov, or by calling the winning numbers line at 701-328-1111.
