Level 3 sex offender moves to new residence in Minn. town

NAYTAUWAUSH, Minn. – The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office was notified Monday that a Level 3 sex offender had registered a new address.
Elias Edward Thompson, 33, is now registered as living in the 2600 block of Bliss Road in Naytauwaush. He previously was living on County Road 4 in rural Naytauwaush.
Thompson was convicted of physically and sexually assaulting a juvenile female after providing her with drugs and alcohol.
He is not wanted by any law enforcement agency and served out his sentence.
