Squirt White places third in Bismarck

The Icehawks opened with an 8-4 win over the Minot Bandits as Aaron Grounds scored five goals, Devin Hofmann two and Phillip Parisien one. Jade Schafer and Parisien each got assists. Cohl Hatch stopped 18 shots.

The Bismarck Huskies handed the Icehawks their first loss of the season in the semifinals, 7-5. Grounds collected a hat trick, while Parisien and Hofmann also lit the lamp. Cole Burkle and Hofmann got assists. Hatch turned away 31 shots.

The Icehawks closed out the Missouri Squirt Tournament with a 9-8 win over the Bismarck Bobcats. Hofmann (4) and Grounds (3) combined for seven goals. Burkle and Parisien accounted for the other scoring. Thomas Dion, Parisien, Hofmann, Dylan Myers and Burkle each got assists. Hatch finished with 31 saves.
