Kazakhstan delegation visiting N.D.

A delegation of livestock producers and government officials from Kazakhstan is visiting North Dakota for a week.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A delegation of livestock producers and government officials from Kazakhstan is visiting North Dakota for a week.

The state Trade Office says the officials are arriving Friday to look for cattle and livestock equipment as part of the country's efforts to develop its agriculture industry.

The 22-member delegation will tour feedlots throughout North Dakota and will meet with ranchers, equipment company representatives and animal scientists from North Dakota State University.
