Fire crews from four S.D. towns respond to house fire

VOLIN, S.D. (AP) — Fire crews from four southeastern South Dakota communities were called out to battle a house fire in Volin.

The two-story home was destroyed in Saturday night's fire. The owner was not home, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters from Volin, Gayville, Wakonda and Yankton were at the scene. Water had to be hauled in from Gayville and Yankton.
