Gibson is no stranger to the area. He coached the Jamestown College women’s soccer team from 1998-2000 before heading to the University of Mary to guide the Marauders from 2001-2002.

Gibson inherits a team that went to the state championship game last season before losing to Fargo South, 4-0. The Blue Jays finished the season 7-5-2 and return first-team all-stater Jenae Dabill, who has already singed with Division I NDSU, and second-team all-state performer Kaitlin Walsh.

Gibson replaces Shea Durham, who resigned after last season to become the Assistant Director of Coaching for the Red River Soccer Club in Fargo.
