Former Bismarck Home Depot sells for $3.5 million
The former Home Depot building in Bismarck apparently has a new owner.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The former Home Depot building in Bismarck apparently has a new owner.
The 102,000-square-foot building that has been empty since 2008 was part of an online auction that ended Thursday afternoon with a final bid of just under $3.5 million.
Matthew Reichert of the Aspen Group real estate company declined to name the high bidder, citing a confidentiality agreement.
The company handling the auction also did not provide specifics about the sale but said typically it takes a week for a sale to be finalized.
If the sale goes through it will be a bargain for the buyer. The Bismarck City Assessor Office says the full market value of the land and the building is about $7.2 million.
