GOP to hold Lincoln Day dinner

GOP Districts 12 and 29 met Jan. 18. The Lincoln Day dinner will be Feb. 11 at the Gladstone Inn & Suites. A social is at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dessert auction.

Cory Fong, state tax commissioner, will be the guest speaker.

The North Dakota GOP convention will be March 19-21 at the Aleurus Center in Grand Forks.

The following are the candidates for offices up for re-election or election: Cory Fong, tax commissioner; Al Jaeger, secretary of state; Doug Goehring, secretary of agriculture; Wayne Stenehjem, attorney general; Rick Berg, Kevin Cramer and Paul Schaffner, U.S. House of Representatives; and John Hoeven and Paul Sorum, U.S. Senate.
