Letter to the editor: Two men appreciated for helping when car got stuck
Thank you to the two nice men who stopped Monday night and shoveled this old grandma’s car out. I had turned to go up our alley between 14th Avenue and 15th Avenue Northeast and promptly was stuck in the snow. I never would have gotten out if they hadn’t stopped to help me.By: Cindy Nelms, The Jamestown Sun
Thank you to the two nice men who stopped Monday night and shoveled this old grandma’s car out. I had turned to go up our alley between 14th Avenue and 15th Avenue Northeast and promptly was stuck in the snow. I never would have gotten out if they hadn’t stopped to help me.
About an hour later, my husband came home in his work van and got stuck in the same place between the street and our alley. Some kind person in a truck stopped and pulled his van out with a tow rope. My husband was so thankful. How lucky we are to live in a town where people stop to help others in need. Thanks again!
