Pirates defeat Cardinals

The Kidder County boys’ basketball team improved to 7-4 overall with a 61-51 victory over Washburn in Steele on Tuesday. The Pirates’ Adam Randall poured in a game-high 29 points to lead Kidder County to victory.

The Kidder County boys’ basketball team improved to 7-4 overall with a 61-51 victory over Washburn in Steele on Tuesday.

The Pirates’ Adam Randall poured in a game-high 29 points to lead Kidder County to victory.

Kidder County led 30-23 at the half, and 16 of Randall’s 29 came after the break to help the Pirates close it out. Randall went 6 of 8 from the free-throw line in the second half.

Jake Miller chipped in with 10 points for the Pirates, while Mike Kalianoff produced eight.

Washburn was led by Jeff Rassmussen with 16.
