The Jamestown Squirt Black hockey team went 2-0 in Sunday’s action against West Fargo Green and the Fargo Flyers Black.
The Jamestown Squirt Black hockey team went 2-0 in Sunday’s action against West Fargo Green and the Fargo Flyers Black.
Jamestown blanked West Fargo 8-0 and followed up with an 8-2 win over the Fargo Flyers Black. Donovan Ask turned away 18 shots in Jamestown’s win over West Fargo. Cole Bennion and Braden Sherfy both scored two goals, while Alex Bennett, Levi Donegan-Wahl, Connor Fuchs and Baylee Hatlewick each scored once. Donegan-Wahl and Sydney Soulis each added two assists apiece and Bennett and Haley Hillstrom each had one.
Jamestown’s offense was rolling again against the Fargo Flyers Black team as Donegan-Wahl and Sherfy each scored twice. Bennett, Bennion, Hatlewick and Dilon McClean each found the back of the net once as they improved to 10-5. Sherfy also tallied two assists, while Bennion, Fuchs, Hillstrom, McClean and Ryan Olson each had one. Ask also made 10 saves in the victory.
