Swine flu levels remain low in Minn.
The Health Department reports the swine flu remains at a low ebb in the state, with no new outbreaks or deaths in the past week.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Health Department reports the swine flu remains at a low ebb in the state, with no new outbreaks or deaths in the past week.
The department released its weekly flu update on Wednesday. It covers from Jan. 24 to Jan. 30.
There was one new hospitalization for a confirmed case of swine flu, bringing the state’s total to 1,809 hospitalizations since April 2009.
So far, there have been 55 deaths in the state tied directly to the swine flu virus.
