Newspaper carrier finds dead body in Minn.

Sheriff’s deputies in Anoka County are investigating after a newspaper carrier found a dead body lying in the street in Coon Rapids.

COON RAPIDS, Minn. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies in Anoka County are investigating after a newspaper carrier found a dead body lying in the street in Coon Rapids.

KSTP-TV reported it happened about 6 a.m. Friday. The newspaper carrier called 911.

Investigators haven’t released the name of the man, but said he was in his 40s and lived in the area. They haven’t determined how he died, but there are no obvious signs of trauma.

The man’s body was found in front of Jamie O’Malley’s home. She told the station she heard two men arguing in the street about 2:30 a.m., but didn’t think anything about it at the time.
