Democratic-NPL conventions set

The District Democratic-NPL conventions for districts 12 and 29 will be held Feb. 23 at the James River Senior and Community Center beginning at 7 p.m., following a 6:15 p.m. chili supper.

District 29 will endorse legislative candidates and both districts will approve resolutions and platform and elect, through the preference caucus process, delegates and alternates to the Democratic-NPL State Convention to be held in Fargo March 26-28. District 12 will elect 16 delegates and alternates and District 29, 17.

District 12 consists of Jamestown precincts J-1, J-2, J-3, J-5 and J-6. District 29 consists of J-4 and all of rural Stutsman County, all of Foster County, and parts of both Eddy and LaMoure counties.
