McIntyre named Musician of Month
The Jamestown High School Music Department chose Matthew McIntyre as the Musician of the Month for December. McIntyre is involved in JHS Orchestra, JHS Choir and Jazz Band and plays bass for the Vocal Jazz Ensemble. He has been selected for Northwest Music Festival and University of North Dakota Honor Orchestra for the 2009-10 school year. He performed in the Orchestra Festival in West Fargo, N.D., and also performs with the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra. He is the son of Michael and Cheryl McIntyre.
