Man convicted of manslaughter has more prison time

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A man convicted of manslaughter in the 2000 beating death of a Grand Forks man must serve two more years in prison after a judge revoked his probation.
Prosecutor David Jones says 37-year-old Shaun Bingaman violated his probation four times while living in Arizona, by using drugs and alcohol and harassing a probation officer.
Bingaman and another man were charged in the death of 26-year-old Timothy Kingsbury. Police say Kingsbury died in October 2000 four days after a fight involving the three men in a motel parking lot.
Bingaman was sentenced to 10 years in prison with two years suspended. Jones says a judge has ordered Bingaman to serve the two years that were suspended.
