Medina Lions set Ag Day for April

Members of the Medina Lions Club set the annual Medina Ag Day event for April 10. The Ag Day features agricultural, commercial and community exhibits, entertainment and a noon luncheon, and is held at the Medina School auditorium.

This year will be the 14th year for the show sponsored and organized by the club. Gerald Horner serves as the chair for the event. Exhibiters wishing to participate are asked to contact Horner at Northland Financial in Medina.

At its Feb. 2 luncheon meeting, the club also discussed possible entertainment for the Ag Day. Medina Lions President Chris Wingire reported on Haitian relief efforts through the Lions Club International Foundation and led a discussion on a possible future club fundraising event to support the local club’s programs.

The next meeting of the Medina Lions will be at noon March 3 at the Medina Café.
