Enderle presented with STAR award

At its Jan. 25 annual meeting, Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, presented STAR awards to recognize the outstanding performance of nonprofit grant partners in reaching and exceeding goals that have positively impacted the health of the people of the region.

At its Jan. 25 annual meeting, Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, presented STAR awards to recognize the outstanding performance of nonprofit grant partners in reaching and exceeding goals that have positively impacted the health of the people of the region.

Joan Enderle, Jamestown, of the American Heart Association North Dakota Goes Red, received a STAR award for her work toward increasing awareness and decreasing heart disease risk in North Dakota women.

DMF focuses its efforts on improving health and access to medical and dental care in the region, with a special emphasis on children. Since 1996, it has invested more than $37 million in 338 nonprofit organizations in the region. For more information, see www.dakmed.org
