Man expected to plead in rash of N.D., Minn. robberies

A man accused in a string of December robberies in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota is expected to enter a plea on Friday.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A man accused in a string of December robberies in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota is expected to enter a plea on Friday.

Twenty-three-year-old Kyle Pederson is due in court in Grand Forks.

Pederson is charged in eight robberies, from a hotel in Grand Forks to a gas station in East Grand Forks, Minn., to a drug store in Mayville. He also faces drug charges.

Authorities say about $4,000 and more than 200 pain pills with an estimated street value of more than $6,000 were taken during the holdups.
