Randy Cox

Randy Cox, 52, Jamestown, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at his home.

Randy Cox was born Oct.2, 1957, in Coeur D Alene, Idaho, the son of Francis and Gerry (Cuypers) Cox. He grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. He worked at the Anne Carlsen Center, Jamestown, for 22 years. He then worked at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his father, Ellendale, N.D.; two sisters, Connie (Larry) Shaw, Roseville, Calif., and Gigi Cox (Vern Heltemes), Fargo, N.D.; a stepsister, Kathy (Joel) Bechtold, West Fargo, N.D.; two stepbrothers, Terry (Joan) Farthing, Spokane, Wash., and Randy Farthing, Ellendale, N.D.; and his stepfather, Bob Roscoe, Fargo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters and one stepbrother.

Memorial service: 4 p.m. Tuesday, Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Dickey Cemetery, Dickey, N.D., in the spring.
