License auction for bighorn sheep set

A North Dakota bighorn sheep hunting license is being auctioned in Minnesota on Friday.

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota bighorn sheep hunting license is being auctioned in Minnesota on Friday.

The auction in Bloomington, Minn., will be handled by The Midwest Chapter of the Wild Sheep Foundation, a group formerly known as the Minnesota-Wisconsin Chapter of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep.

North Dakota has auctioned a bighorn sheep license each year since 1986 to fund sheep projects in the state, raising more than $800,000.
