The Prowl opened with a 7-6 loss to Williston, with the help of two goals and an assist from Austin Rene. Seth Lind, Shane Chandler, Nick Urquhart and Jared Schultz also scored. Urquhart had two assists, while Chandler, Ben Harris and Nick Stevens each had one. Josh Friesen made 23 saves in nets.
The Prowl won their second game, 6-2 over West Fargo, including four goals from Rene.
Nick Stockert and Seth Lind each had a goal and three assists. Ben Baasch, Jacob Miller and Harris each had assists, while Friesen made 11 saves.
In the final game of the weekend, Minot blanked the Prowl 6-0 after landing 42 shots on Friesen.
