White Mites notch two victories

The Jamestown Icehawks White Mites defeated West Fargo Black 3-0 and West Fargo Gold 5-2, but didn’t get the weekend sweep by falling to West Fargo Green 5-0.

Tommy Falk scored all of the Icehawks’ goals in the win over Fargo Black, earning the hat trick by scoring an unassisted goal in each period. Matthew Schneider notched 18 saves between the pipes.

Falk kept the scoring coming in the Icehawks’ three-goal victory over Fargo Gold, earning another hat trick on three unassisted goals. Brady Sortland and Aiden Copeland picked up the other two Jamestown goals, with assists going to Kellen Showen, Andrew Noyes and Brayden Gasal.

Schneider earned 26 saves in the game against Fargo Gold, but picked up 54 saves in Jamestown’s five-goal loss to West Fargo Green.
