One dies in Minn. charter bus crash
A 25-year-old Ottertail woman is dead after her small SUV was struck on the driver’s side by a charter bus. None of the bus passengers were injured.
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (AP) — A 25-year-old Ottertail woman is dead after her small SUV was struck on the driver’s side by a charter bus. None of the bus passengers were injured.
The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls reported that it happened about 11 p.m. Friday west of Detroit Lakes on Highway 10.
The State Patrol said a 2007 Ford Escape driven by Tabitha Janssen was struck when she crossed Highway 10 into the path of an eastbound charter bus. Janssen died at the scene.
There were 15 people on the bus, including the driver. None of them were hurt.
