Meeting to discuss Huntington’s set

The Huntington’s Disease Northern Prairie Advocates will feature a presentation on tetrabenazine at its next meeting. This drug was recently approved by the Federal Drug Administration and is specific to Huntington’s disease patients.

The Huntington’s Disease Northern Prairie Advocates will feature a presentation on tetrabenazine at its next meeting. This drug was recently approved by the Federal Drug Administration and is specific to Huntington’s disease patients.

The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Fargo Holiday Inn. There will be a support group meeting following this presentation, facilitated by Eileen Krueger, LSW, social worker, specializing in HD. Lunch will be provided.

Pat Mason, pharmaceutical representative from Chicago, will describe this drug and its benefits to Huntington’s patients.

This program is open to all HD patients and families as well as medical and other health care personnel interested in this topic.
