LaMoure County seeks sandbagging volunteers today beginning at 4 p.m., said Sheri Gartner, LaMoure County director of emergency services.

LaMoure County seeks sandbagging volunteers today beginning at 4 p.m., said Sheri Gartner, LaMoure County director of emergency services. Workers should report to the county road shop at 521 Fourth Ave. S.E. Sandbagging will run until 6:30 or 7 p.m. The goal is to make 2,000 to 3,000 bags to have on reserve for emergency situations in the city and rural areas, Gartner said.
