County honors staff

Stutsman County held its 2009 Awards Banquet on March 5. Recognized for their years of service were:

Thirty-five years: Linda Ebel

Thirty years: Rita Morris, Linda Chadduck and Karon Orr.

Twenty-five years: Jan Thompson, Mike Zimmerman and John Sinclair.

Twenty years: Norma Kaiser, Larae Frieze, Dorinda Brown, Jerry Bergquist, Norma Howes, Howie Peuser and Jeanne Weber.

Fifteen years: Gayl Lange and Dalles Schilling.

Ten years: Deb Hatlewick, Jean Zachrison, Sandy Eckelberg, Garry Geroux, Kate Larson and Rebacca Pretzer.

Five years: Joe Halseth, Julie Opp, Shaun Schafer and Libby Wynne.

Retiring employees were recognized. They are: Jerry Mayer, Sheriff’s Office, 28 years; Alice Pekarski, tax equalization, 28 years; Norma Howes, Social Services, 25 years; Agnes Jensen, library, 22 years; DeLanda Kollman, communications, 17 years; and Gayl Lange, Treasurer’s Office, 15 years.
