N.D. trade delegation heads to China

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota trade delegation left Sunday for China and Indonesia.
Lt. Gov. Jack Dalrymple said China presents great opportunities because of its rapidly expanding middle class and sustained economic growth.
The U.S. Commercial Service said North Dakota’s exports to China reached about $19 million last year, up 50 percent from 2005.
The delegation includes Dalrymple, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle, members of the North Dakota Trade Office, and representatives of North Dakota companies and other organizations.
