WYNDMERE, N.D. (AP) — A judge has lowered the $5 million bail set last week for a man accused of shooting and killing another man in a bar fight.

Police say 46-year-old Stephen Rowland of Wyndmere, North Dakota killed Gordon Vosberg during the fight at the Four Corners Lounge in Wyndmere.

Rowland's attorney says the initial $5 million bond was unreasonable because of Rowland's lack of criminal history.

A judge reduced the bond Tuesday to $1.2 million.

Rowland is set to be back in court on May 16.
