Blue Jays’ Piatz on Badlands Bowl roster
Jamestown High School’s Jordan Piatz has been named to the 2010 Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl roster. The annual game pits the top prep football players in North Dakota and Montana. This year’s matchup is June 19 in Dickinson. Piatz, headed to Northern State next season to play wide receiver, finished his prep career with 114 receptions for 1,986 yards for the Blue Jays, including 22 touchdowns. This past season he had 46 catches for 703 yards and 6 scores. He also played defensive back and linebacker during his career for the Blue Jays.By: Sun Staff, The Jamestown Sun

Carrington’s Devin Barton, recently named to the Class B all state boys’ basketball team, was also picked for the team. Barton is headed to UND to play football in the fall.
