FUMC forming parents’ network
First United Methodist Church is forming a group called Parent Support Network on April 16. The group will meet monthly to provide an opportunity for parents to come together for mutual support and affirmation. Monthly meetings will vary in format, topic and discussion centering around issues of child rearing for children of all ages.
First United Methodist Church is forming a group called Parent Support Network on April 16. The group will meet monthly to provide an opportunity for parents to come together for mutual support and affirmation.
Monthly meetings will vary in format, topic and discussion centering around issues of child rearing for children of all ages.
The group will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. on Fridays at the church, 115 Third St. S.E. Meetings will begin with a family meal. Child care is provided during the meeting. A freewill offering will be taken to cover the expenses of the evening. The meetings are open to the public.
