Jamestown College biology student Matt McManus of Fargo is presenting his senior seminar at 4 p.m. Wednesday in room 213 of Orlady Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.
McManus’ topic is “Formation/Consolidation of Internal Models for Motor Memory.”
“Actions and skilled movements are a major part of our human lives,” McManus said. “To perform these actions, our brain creates an internal model for each, allowing us to learn many actions and skills. Without strong internal models, we would not be able to execute complex tasks and live our lives the way we do today.”
