Cass County prosecutor wants another term
The lead prosecutor in North Dakota's most populous county plans to seek a fourth term in office.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The lead prosecutor in North Dakota's most populous county plans to seek a fourth term in office.
Cass County State's Attorney Birch Burdick was first elected in 1998. He has filed the paperwork to seek another four-year term.
Burdick is the son of the late U.S. Sen. Quentin Burdick, D-N.D.
The filing deadline for state's attorney candidates is Friday.
