Game and Fish meetings set

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is planning advisory board meetings in eight communities this month. The public meetings are held each spring and fall to give state residents an opportunity to discuss fish and wildlife issues and ask questions of district advisers and agency personnel.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is planning advisory board meetings in eight communities this month.

The public meetings are held each spring and fall to give state residents an opportunity to discuss fish and wildlife issues and ask questions of district advisers and agency personnel.

The governor appoints eight Game and Fish Department advisers, each representing several counties, to serve as liaisons between the department and public.

Meetings are planned starting April 12 in Granville and ending April 15 in Turtle Lake.

In between, meetings will be held in Devils Lake, Williston, Fordville, Wahpeton, Mott and Jamestown. Details can be found on the Game and Fish Web site, http://gf.nd.gov/.
