UND begins renovation, addition project

Work is to begin soon on the top building project for the year on the University of North Dakota campus. A ground breaking is set June 4 for the renovation of the Education Building and the construction of a new wing.

GRAND FORKS (AP) — Work is to begin soon on the top building project for the year on the University of North Dakota campus.

A ground breaking is set June 4 for the renovation of the Education Building and the construction of a new wing.

The $11.2 million project will involve the rebuilding of 48,000 square feet and the addition of 15,000 square feet.

Education Dean Dan Rice says construction will take about 15 months.
