NDSU down to four semifinalists
The semifinalists for North Dakota State University president are Dean Bresciani, John Gardner, Gary Miller and Bill Ruud. FARGO — The semifinalists for North Dakota State University president are Dean Bresciani, John Gardner, Gary Miller and Bill Ruud.
Each candidate will be invited to campus for 2 1/2 days in late April and early May to meet with various constituent groups and tour campus and Fargo.
Bresciani is an adjunct professor and former vice president for student affairs for Texas A&M University.
Gardner is vice president for economic development and global engagement for Washington State University in Seattle.
Miller is provost and vice president for academic affairs and research at Wichita (Kan.) State University.
Ruud is president of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
The committee interviewed eight candidates this weekend and selected these four, unranked candidates Sunday evening.
