Walkers can choose from a 3- or 6-mile route. There is no registration fee, but to get the Walk MS T-shirt, walkers must raise at least $100. Walk MS is an opportunity for all ages and abilities to enjoy the weather, the festivities, and to help the National MS Society. Participants are encouraged to arrive before the walk and learn more about MS at a mission area. Walkers may bring their pets along for the walk.
Three Walk MS honorees were chosen to be honored at the walk. Steve Wingad, Elizabeth Johnson and Tara Razink were chosen on the basis of their dedication to moving towards a world free of MS and their positive attitude despite living with and caring for those who live with this unpredictable disease.
