Montpelier students place in AMVETS contest
Five students from Montpelier Public School have received awards for their essays entered in the AMVETS Essay Contest. This year’s theme was “Why Do We Celebrate the Fourth of July?”
Five students from Montpelier Public School have received awards for their essays entered in the AMVETS Essay Contest. This year’s theme was “Why Do We Celebrate the Fourth of July?”
The students placed as follows: first place in the seventh-grade category: Aurora Bear. First place in the eighth-grade category: Allie Knight. Rachel Lee, Lindsey Hansen and Katy Knight placed first, second and third, respectively, in the ninth-grade category.
