On Sunday, all Jamestown Girl Scouts will join together to celebrate the past year of scouting.

Jamestown has 13 Girl Scout troops ranging from kindergarten to high school age levels. All troops will be recognized and seven of those troops will be bridging to the next level of Girl Scouting. One troop of Junior Girl Scouts will be receiving its Bronze Award, which is the highest award earned at their level. The event starts at 2:30 p.m. at St Paul’s Methodist Church, 1000 Fifth Ave. N.E.

Girls are asked to arrive at 2:15 p.m. for lineup in the fellowship hall. A freewill collection will be taken to help support programs for local Girl Scouts and refreshments will follow the ceremony. If Girl Scouts have any questions, they should contact their leaders or call Cheryl at 952-2846.
