N.D. GOP: Pomeroy has his own financial disclosure problems

BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota Republicans say Democratic U.S. Rep. Earl Pomeroy has his own problems with filling out state financial disclosure forms.

Democrats have filed a complaint against Pomeroy’s Republican opponent, Rick Berg. They said Berg didn’t list a Bismarck company among his financial interests. Berg’s campaign manager said the omission is being corrected.

North Dakota Republican chairman Gary Emineth said Pomeroy’s own state listing of financial interests is blank, even though his federal disclosure form lists a number of investments.

A Pomeroy spokeswoman said the Democratic incumbent files his federal disclosure form with North Dakota’s secretary of state. It has more detail about Pomeroy’s finances than the state form.
