MAFB crews to train with Canadian soldiers

Personnel from Minot Air Force Base and Canadian Forces Base Shilo at Brandon, Manitoba, are taking part in a training exercise in the Minot area.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Personnel from Minot Air Force Base and Canadian Forces Base Shilo at Brandon, Manitoba, are taking part in a training exercise in the Minot area.

Minot base spokeswoman Laurie Arellano (awr-ee-AH’noh) says the planes involved will be flying at normal heights, and no live munitions will be used.

The training is planned for Tuesday and Wednesday. Twenty-seven members of Minot Air Force Base's 5th Bomb Wing and six members of the Canadian base are to take part.
