N.D. pair plead not guilty to sex crimes

A convicted sex offender and his ex-wife have pleaded not guilty to felony sex crimes in Valley City.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — A convicted sex offender and his ex-wife have pleaded not guilty to felony sex crimes in Valley City.

Thirty-nine-year-old Robert Schultz and 36-year-old Mary Wadkins are accused of improperly touching a boy and a girl younger than 15 and using them in sexual performances.

The pair allegedly encouraged the children to take part in sexual games including strip poker.
