Police identify body pulled from Red River
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Police say the body of a man found Sunday in the Red River near Grand Forks has been positively identified as that of 19-year-old Delano Gaking.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Police say the body of a man found Sunday in the Red River near Grand Forks has been positively identified as that of 19-year-old Delano Gaking.
Searchers had been looking for Gaking since April 13, when a truck driver reported a person might have jumped from a bridge between Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, Minn. Authorities found personal items on the bridge belonging to Gaking, who friends and family said was battling depression.
Police say drowning was the cause of death.
