Rotary to cleanup Mill Hill

The April 27 Rotary meeting was presided over by President Tom Boerger. Doug Frohlich gave the invocation, Selmer Spitzer led the music, and Gail Martin collected numerous “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects.

The April 27 Rotary meeting was presided over by President Tom Boerger. Doug Frohlich gave the invocation, Selmer Spitzer led the music, and Gail Martin collected numerous “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects.

Boeger reminded club members of several dates to place on their calendars. A potluck dinner for the CSE group from Japan was held at the Buffalo Museum on Sunday. The Mill Hill cleanup list will be handed out at today’s meeting.

Lyman Keim had the program for the day. He introduced Katie Morehouse, who portrayed Dr. Helena Knauf Wink, the first female physician in Jamestown. Wink was born in 1854 and began practicing medicine in Jamestown in 1883 until her death in 1936 at the age of 81.

Guests at the meeting were attorney Lynn Boughey from Bismarck and Student of the Month Kaitlin Regan

At today’s meeting Rick Pfeiffer will give the invocation, Gary Riffe will lead the music, and Ross Stark is sergeant at arms. Marty Richmann has the program.
