A longtime Fargo television personality has resigned. KVLY/KXJB-TV general manager Charley Johnson cites personal reasons for his decision. His resignation is effective immediately but he will serve in a consulting role for six months.
FARGO (AP) — A longtime Fargo television personality has resigned.
KVLY/KXJB-TV general manager Charley Johnson cites personal reasons for his decision. His resignation is effective immediately but he will serve in a consulting role for six months.
Johnson has worked in the Fargo-Moorhead media for 36 years. He served as KVLY general manager since 1998 and was the anchorman for the station until 2007.
Dallas-based Hoak Media said the search for a new leader for the NBC and CBS stations will begin immediately.
