Hospital auxiliary makes pledge
Jamestown Hospital Auxiliary met on May 3 with 24 members and four guests, Ella Thoms, Loretta Jung, Marlene Axtman and Monica Newton, present. Members voted to make another pledge payment of $10,000 to the Jamestown Hospital Foundation.

Jenn Hebranson presented an informative program on the Sleep Studies Center at Jamestown Hospital. She outlined the various sleep problems and disorders. She noted sleep is as important as exercise and diet.
Marty Richman reported that the construction at the new facility is on target with enclosure planned by the end of the summer. The target date for the opening of the Jamestown Regional Medical Facility is still August 2011.
Reports were received on the recent jewelry sale, purse party and the auxiliary’s participation in Life’s Focus. The auxiliary is planning for the annual geranium sale near the end of May, and for the Jamestown Hospital Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social on July 14.
Telecare clients will be honored at the annual party May 13. Jeanette Srozinski, chairperson for Telecare, has games and dessert planned with other members assisting in this event.
Betty Parsons won the door prize.
The Jamestown Hospital Auxiliary will meet again at 1:30 p.m. June 7 in the Emil Wieland Board Room at the hospital. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
