Temple Baptist fundraiser is Sunday

Temple Baptist Church will have a cookout, silent auction, dunk tank and other games starting at noon Sunday to raise funds for Aaron Aziz, a TBC member who will spend a one-year internship with AIM Air in Nairobi, Kenya.

AIM supports humanitarian efforts in East Africa through air support to remote areas. Aziz is furthering his mission aviation training to complete his mechanic certification. He also has two pilot’s ratings.

Silent auction items include gift cards, meals, motel stays, baked goods, home décor items and more. The public is invited to share in this celebration, which will also include baptisms at 9:40 a.m. and worship at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.
