Projects get federal aid

Four North Dakota infrastructure projects are getting federal financial help. Oakes is getting a $2.8 million loan and a $2.2 million grant for sewer system improvements, and Carrington will receive a $405,000 loan and a $316,000 grant for water treatment plant improvements.

BISMARCK (AP) — Four North Dakota infrastructure projects are getting federal financial help.

Oakes is getting a $2.8 million loan and a $2.2 million grant for sewer system improvements, and Carrington will receive a $405,000 loan and a $316,000 grant for water treatment plant improvements.

Roughrider Electric Cooperative is getting a $4 million loan to build or upgrade 82 miles of transmission lines, and the North Central Rural Water Consortium is getting a $1.2 million loan to help build a water transmission system in Burleigh County.
