Miller named MPS valedictorian

Montpelier (N.D.) Public School has announced that Sophie Miller is this year’s valedictorian.

She is the daughter of Kathleen and Lee Miller of Adrian, N.D.

Ama-nda Valenta is the salutatorian this year. She is the daughter of Robert and Sue Valenta of Montpelier.

Miller will be attending the Air National Guard and then James-town College after graduation. Her major is undecided.

Valenta will be attending Moorhead State University Minnesota after graduation and her major is undecided.

Montpelier Public School graduation ceremonies are set for 2 p.m. Sunday in the school’s gym.
